**Don’t Forget – Friday is Mega Swagbucks Day**

Don’t forget that today is Mega Swagbucks Day, so be sure to do all your searches through Swagbucks.  It’s amazing how quickly they add up — especially on Fridays when the chances of being awarded higher amounts is greater.

If you’ve not yet joined Swagbucks, it is a great way to get rewarded by just using their search engine. I will usually get rewarded 2-3 times a day with between 5-15 swagbucks each time. Collect your Swagbucks and redeem them for gift cards — Like from Amazon.

Here’s a hint for getting more Swagbucks. — Download the toolbar.  I usually don’t like to add toolbars to my computer, but since I’ve downloaded the Swagbucks tool bar, I’ve gotten into the habit of doing all my searches through them. I am amazed at how quickly my Swagbucks total is growing now that I use it all the time.

Swagbucks – 60 FREE Swagbucks for joining before the end of the Year!

If you’ve been reading the blog for awhile, you’ve probably heard of Swagbucks. You may not have fully understood what it’s all about (or not yet taken a second to sign up), so I wanted to tell you about it so you don’t miss another day of earning your “Swagbucks”.

Swagbucks is an online portal which allows allows you to earn virtual dollars (called “Swagbucks”) while searching the internet. You literally just need to search as you normally would, and you will randomly be awarded Swagbucks in various denominations.
Once you collect a few Swagbucks, they can redeemed for a huge assortment of gifts, gift cards or even Pay Pal cash. I’m saving my Swagbucks for Amazon gift cards to use for a Kindle. (But I have a friend that just got a new laptop — just from cashing in her Swagbucks)

Here are a few tips that will help you maximize your Swagbucks earnings:

1. Download the Swagbucks toolbar. You’ll automatically receive One FREE Swagbuck each day just for having it downloaded on your computer. Once it’s there, you can easily use it for your searches. The more you search, the more chances you’ll have to be rewarded with Swagbucks.

2. Use the Swagbucks search window to navigate around the internet as you normally would. I have lots of websites “bookmarked”, but I’ve found that when I began accessing them through the Swagbucks search bar, I quickly increased my Swagbucks balance.

3. Watch for FREE Swag Codes. Swagbucks often release codes that can be entered on their website for FREE bucks. I’ll try to post their location when I’m aware of them, but you’ll also find them via the message section of the tool bar.

4. Refer friends. Swagbucks will reward you for referring others, so sign up and then let your friends know about the program, and you’ll earn additional bucks.

5. This is not scientific (or even confirmed by Swagbucks) but I’ve found that if I type in a random word each day — something that I typically wouldn’t be searching for — I’ll often get a few bucks. So type in “lemons” or something odd and see what happens.

Earn from Home – Part 7 Ebates

Welcome to Part 7 of our weekly series on ways to earn a little extra money from home. The past several weeks have been focused on taking online surveys for cash or rewards. To see those posts click here.
Today, we’re going to cover a completely different area for earning that doesn’t require you do anything at all. In fact, if you shop online and don’t use this tool, you’re letting cash pass you by!
Founded in 1999, Ebates is the pioneer and leader in online cash back shopping. Ebates pays their members cash back every time they shop online through the Ebates website. Additionally, you’ll find the best coupon codes and online deals all in one place.
Signing up with Ebates could not be easier. You just enter your email address and create a password and you will immediately by taken to the Ebates website.

Notice that as soon as you sign up, you are given the option to select one of several $10 Gift Vouchers as an incentive to get you started.  They are currently offering vouchers to Home Depot, Beauty.com, Red Envelope.com or Magazines.com.  Alternatively, you can choose to have $5 credited to your Ebates account.
Once you’ve registered with Ebates, it’s really easy to start shopping. Just type the name of the store you’re looking for in the search bar.
You’ll then be able to enter the online retailer’s website through the red “Shop Now” button.  Ebates is now tracking your purchase and will reward with the cash back based on the amount you spend.    Every 3 months, Ebates will mail you a check (or deposit into your PayPal account) for the amount you’ve earned.
The cash back percentage amounts vary from retailer to retailer, but keep your eyes open for some really good opportunities.  They usually feature one retailer per day with “Double Cash Back”.   And when the holidays get closer, you’ll be amazed at all the cash back offers.

Don’t Miss Hidden Swagbucks – More Ways to Earn Them!

So many of us are now using SwagBucks that I thought it would be worth sharing with you a few way to earn that you might have missed.

If you’re not familiar with SwagBucks, it is a super easy way to earn virtual “bucks” just for searching the internet.  These Swagbucks can be redeemed for gift cards and other great rewards.  See my full post HERE.

OK Swagernauts — Here’s what I’ve found.

1.  If you’re not using the Swagbucks Toolbar – Download it.  It makes it so easy to search and win PLUS you’ll get a FREE Swagbuck every day when you log in.  (right now this is doubled to 2 Swagbucks per day)

2. Each day, log onto the Swagbucks Website and take the Daily Poll.  You’ll see the link in the left hand column.  You’ll get at least 1 Swagbuck each day that you vote.

3.  Sign up for Swagbucks Trusted Surveys.  You’ll also see this link on the left side of the website.    I often get a Swagbuck, just for clicking the link.  Each time I log in, I can see a list of the available surveys, and the Swagbucks awarded for each.  Most surveys are worth at least 50 Swagbucks!

4.  Special Offers — I completely stumbled upon this one.  We’ve been wanting to try NetFlix at our house.  I happened to see that I can sign up for the FREE Trial through the Swagbucks Special Offers section and get 530 Swagbucks!!  Wohoo! They have lots of offers, so check them out.

Earn From Home – SpringBoard America Survey Panel

If you’ve been following our series on ways to earn some extra money from home, you’ll know that we’ve spent a lot of time covering various survey companies.  Today, we wanted to let you know about SpringBoard America Survey Panel

As we get closer to the holidays, I find myself paying closer attention to the survey opportunities that arrive in my inbox each day.   Springboard America works very similar to many of the other survey panels we have discussed.   Upon confirming your registration and completing your profile, you will receive survey opportunities that pay between $1 – $5 each, depending on the length of the survey.  Once your account reaches $50, you can request a redemption check.   You don’t have to sorry about redeeming points for gift certificates or other rewards — you’re simply paid cash for your time.

Earn from Home – PineCone Research Panel

If you have been following our series on ways to earn extra money from home, you know that we have spent a good bit of time covering various survey companies.  Today, I wanted to let you know about a great survey company that only takes a limited number of applicants — BUT– if you are accepted, it pays well.

Pinecone Research

Pinecone Research is once again taking applications for new survey panelists.  They are particularly looking for women of all ages.  If you qualify, you will be part of one of the highest paying survey groups available.  (I am waiting to see if I’ve qualified, but I’ve heard that they pay around $3 for each completed survey).

If you are interested, take the short questionnaire to see if you fit into one of the categories they are searching for.    They only open application periods for a short time or until the slots are filled, so don’t wait if you’re interested.

Earn from Home – Synovate Survey Panel

Christmas will be here before we know it, and I’m really trying to increase my efforts to earn a little extra money to offset the expenses.  If you’ve been following our series on opportunities to earn from home, you’ll want to check out Synovate.   This well known survey company currently has openings for new members.   I have just  signed up today for this panel, but before doing so  I took a few minutes to research the company to see how they rank among other survey panels.  Here’s what I found:

  • Synovate is well known for giving panelists the opportunity to test full size products in their home.
  • Unlike many survey companies, your rewards with Synovate are redeemable for cash.
  • Although frequency of survey offers vary depending on your profile information, you can probably expect at least 1 survey invitation per week with compensation in the .50 cent – $5 range.

Immediately upon registering, I received a confirmation email from Synovate.  Once I verified my account through the link provided, I received my first “Welcome” survey worth 250 points.  I’m excited to get started and starting earning some extra money for Christmas!
