It is with a sad heart that I’m updating everyone on a change in Kroger’s digital coupon policy.  Apparently, they have decided to no longer “stack” digital (or e-coupons) with paper coupons.   Here’s the excerpt from the online coupon policy:

Digital Coupons Rules

Can I use paper coupons as well as digital coupons on the same item?

Limit of one coupon per item. Digital coupons and paper coupons may not be combined on the purchase of a single item.

I think that digital coupons are still a great idea to keep loaded on your shopper card, but it looks as if we can no longer count on the discounts to be combined.
